Ananth Kumar’s journey from science to consulting exemplifies adaptability and ambition. Growing up on a plantation in Johor, he excelled academically, earning a scholarship to study at Kolej Yayasan UEM (KYUEM). These foundations enabled him to secure a place at Imperial College London, where he pursued biotechnology.
After graduating, Ananth transitioned to the corporate world, beginning his career in UEM Edgenta’s corporate planning department. His analytical skills from a science background proved valuable in strategy and project management, ultimately leading him to consulting roles at Roland Berger and Bain & Company. As a consultant, he works across diverse sectors, contributing innovative solutions that drive business success. His journey highlights the transformative impact of KYUEM’s educational approach and his drive to make a meaningful difference in the corporate arena.
