Darimi Saadon’s career reflects his commitment to excellence and adaptability. A former debate champion and KYUEM alum, Darimi was active in extracurriculars, including student council and theater, where he won Best Actor for two years. These formative experiences at KYUEM helped him build confidence and refine his public speaking skills, which became invaluable assets in his career. After completing his A-levels, Darimi went on to study economics at the University of Exeter on a Yayasan UEM scholarship, later earning a Chartered Accountant title through ICAEW.
Professionally, Darimi began at UEM Group and later joined Tenaga Nasional Berhad, where he led its new energy division, focusing on renewable energy projects. Today, he serves as part of the Dana Impak team at Khazanah Nasional, working on impact investments aimed at enhancing Malaysia’s economic resilience and social well-being. His career journey from KYUEM to Khazanah demonstrates his commitment to impactful development, inspiring young Malaysians to pursue success grounded in meaningful contributions.
