Afif Fathullah, an accomplished architect and KYUEM alumnus, has consistently demonstrated exceptional skills in 3D modeling and Building Information Modeling (BIM). From his early days at KYUEM, where his innate design talent was evident, Afif has pursued his passion with determination. At the University of Sheffield, he stood out by utilizing SketchUp 3D for his first-year projects, further honing his technical skills. His master’s project, which involved designing a youth start-up center using 3D printed materials, showcased his innovative approach. Professionally, Afif has applied his 3D expertise in various significant projects, including producing permits and CD sets for WeWork in Seattle and coordinating a 300-bed project for the Veritas Design Group in Kemaman.
In 2021, Afif founded Bimologie, a company dedicated to revolutionizing architecture through BIM. This digital system allows for the comprehensive management of building information throughout the project lifecycle, enhancing decision-making and efficiency. Bimologie’s notable achievements include complex healthcare projects, demonstrating their capability to handle sophisticated designs. Despite financial challenges, Afif’s leadership has kept the company afloat, prioritizing employee well-being and maintaining a focus on sustainable growth. His journey from KYUEM to founding Bimologie underscores his commitment to innovation and excellence in architecture, serving as an inspiration to future architects.
