Biography

Noramirah, an alumna of Kolej Yayasan UEM (KYUEM), has demonstrated remarkable prowess in the field of biomedical engineering. Her academic journey began at Tunku Kurshiah College (TKC) and led her to excel in A-Levels at KYUEM, a premier institution. She pursued her passion at Cardiff University, earning a Master’s in Biomedical Engineering. Starting her career as a design engineer for Materialise, Noramirah customized hip implants and established a new design team in Malaysia. She later transitioned to a role as a medical application engineer, providing technical consultancy on the use of Materialise software in the medical industry. Currently, she is a project manager for Anatomical Data Mining (ADAM) in Belgium, where she continues to make significant contributions.

Noramirah’s leadership and innovative mindset have been evident throughout her career. At KYUEM, her dedication to excellence was clear, setting a high academic standard. Her transition from aspiring to pursue medicine to discovering her true calling in biomedical engineering highlights her adaptability and determination. As a sales application engineer, Noramirah has been at the forefront of integrating advanced technologies like artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and augmented reality into healthcare. Her work in this area not only showcases her technical expertise but also her commitment to using technology to improve patient outcomes and advance medical practice. Noramirah’s journey from KYUEM to leading projects in Belgium is a testament to her relentless pursuit of innovation and excellence in biomedical engineering.

As of this writing, Noramirah is serving as the Application Engineer at Materialise.
